The Cost of Living 2018 Index also ranks the most expensive place to live in the Arab world

Dubai: The cost of living in Asia has been ranked, with the city of Dubai holding the 11th spot out of 108 cities.
The 2018 Cost of Living Index, produced by crowd-sourced global database Numbeo, also ranked Dubai as the most expensive city to live in across the Arab world, and the 210th place globally out of 540 cities.
The next most expensive Asian cities were Doha, Beirut, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, which were ranked at 14, 16, 17 and 21 respectively.
Numbeo's Rent Index ranked Dubai in first place among Arab cities and third place in Asia, after Hong Kong and Singapore.
The highest rents were found in San Francisco, while rent in Valenzuela, Philippines were the lowest globally.

Globally, renting an apartment in Dubai is more expensive than in Las Vegas in the U.S., Ottowa in Canada and Barcelona in Spain, which was ranked in 17th place globally at 66.88.
Meanwhile, Dubai’s rent is less expensive than Hamilton in Bermuda, Lugano in Swizerland, and Sydney in Australia.
The Restaurant Index, which compares the prices of meals and drinks at restaurants, ranked Dubai in 231st place globally, in first place among Arab cities and in sixth place among cities in Asia.
The most expensive city in Asia was Kyoto at first place, followed by Tokyo, Singapore, Tel Aviv and Occupied Jerusalem.
