Aap Kaa SurRoor
Himesh Reshammiya

The success of the song Aashiq Banaya Aap Ne has given composer Himesh Reshammiya further courage to showcase his vocal talents.

Reshammiya maybe a talented composer but he's not a great singer. He has a high-pitched, nasal voice, which, thanks to today's sound technology, comes across like a mismatch between Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, RD Burman, Anu Malik and A.R. Rahman. The songs in this album show Reshammiya's penchant for sufi, rock, pop, bhangra and dance beats. The sound is modern and tailored for Gen X.

Some of Reshammiya's compositions are remixed by DJs Akbar Sami and Aqeel. Songs such as Naam Hai Tera, Samjho Na, I Love You Sayyoni should appeal
to youngsters.
