Dubai summer campaign highlights the emirate’s vibrant, family-focused water experiences
Dubai: The city is making a splash this summer with its world-class waterparks, reinforcing its reputation as a premier global destination for family-friendly entertainment.
Under the umbrella of the #DubaiDestinations summer campaign, the city's water attractions are being showcased as essential summer escapes for residents and visitors alike.
From thrilling rides to serene splash zones, Dubai’s waterparks offer a dynamic mix of adventure, relaxation, and fun, catering to thrill-seekers, young children, and everyone in between. These attractions seamlessly combine cutting-edge design, imaginative themes, and comprehensive facilities to deliver unforgettable leisure experiences.
Home to some of the region’s largest and most innovative waterparks, Dubai has long been a leader in family entertainment infrastructure.
One of its flagship destinations is Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis The Palm, which continues to expand with new rides, surf simulators, and dedicated play zones for children. With its vast selection of high-speed slides and aquatic activities, it remains a favourite among tourists and locals alike.
Equally iconic is Wild Wadi Waterpark, situated near the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel. With over 30 rides and attractions, including wave pools and a surf simulator, it offers panoramic views and a well-rounded experience that blends thrills with relaxation.
For a more unconventional outing, AquaFun Waterpark at Jumeirah Beach Residence invites visitors to explore a floating playground set directly on the sea. Its inflatable obstacle courses, climbing frames and water slides provide a high-energy challenge for all age groups, offering a unique adventure right on the city’s shoreline.
Families with younger children are especially well catered for, with several attractions designed for early-age fun.
LEGOLAND Water Park, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, offers a creative and interactive environment tailored for children aged 2 to 12. Featuring water rides and LEGO-themed play zones, it allows families to bond through immersive, hands-on experiences.
Also located along the Jumeirah coastline, Aqua Parks delivers a floating water playground featuring a variety of inflatable games. Another family-favourite destination is Splash ’n’ Party Kids Waterpark, a vibrant venue with child-safe splash zones and colourful slides ideal for younger guests.
For nature lovers, Al Barari Playground offers a refreshing escape surrounded by greenery. With open-air splash areas and shaded water swings, it provides a tranquil setting for families looking to enjoy nature and water play in one space.
Adding a coastal charm is Jungle Bay Waterpark, located near the Mina Seyahi resort. With a tropical theme and sea views, it offers an array of slides and attractions for both children and adults in a scenic setting.
Dubai’s water-based offerings also include more tranquil and educational experiences.
The Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark serves as a serene retreat with exclusive child-friendly areas, tailored for hotel guests seeking a quieter family experience.
Meanwhile, OliOli – Water Gallery in Al Quoz introduces an educational twist, allowing children to explore water through interactive, science-based exhibits that encourage experimentation and play.
These destinations are more than just places to cool down — they are full-fledged leisure hubs featuring restaurants, retail options, and relaxation zones. With safety, cleanliness and service as top priorities, Dubai’s waterparks continue to enhance the city’s summer tourism appeal.
Beyond traditional waterparks, Dubai also offers a wide range of water activities, including jet skiing, wakeboarding, flyboarding, diving and paddleboarding.
With continuous investment in its leisure infrastructure and tourism experiences, Dubai is cementing its status as a global hub for family entertainment and adventure tourism all year round.
