Style Diary: How to wear pastel denim this summer

Looking to move away from your trusty blues this summer?

Why not treat yourself to some coloured, embellished or distressed denim.

Over recent weeks I have become obsessed with pastel denims – and in particular denim skirts and shorts in these vibrant colours.

Beach days, casual girly lunches, or even laid-back nights out – these two items should be staple features in your summer 2017 wardrobe.

For a more casual daytime look, these denim must-haves can be paired with a basic tee and flip-flips or plain plimsolls.

While, for a more glamorous night-time vibe, stick with the basic tee but add a pair of killer stilettos and statement clutch bag.

River Island are going big on their pastel denim at the moment and there’s not an item in their line that I don’t love.
