Confusing road signs in Abu Dhabi

These sign boards behind Al Maria Mall in Abu Dhabi are really confusing and misleading for drivers. Although I have not personally experienced a dangerous situation in that area, I have been a witness to a couple of near misses.

Considering this particular layout of roads, the one remedy could be to provide speed bumps to slow down the oncoming vehicles, in addition, of course, to properly installing road signs.
