Unwelcome charges

I have been a regular investor with National Bonds for more than four years and things have been ok until some time back.

In my last investment, I have felt cheated because on redeeming my holding, apart from the courier charges, they also deducted Dh300 as subscription charges. I told them that I had redeemed even in April 2013, but there was no such deduction. They replied that this is a new policy that has been introduced.

Obviously, regular investors must be informed about any change in policies. If I have signed on any such application form with this policy in place, they should show it to me.

It appears that by introducing such new charges, they are trying to fund their advertised numerous draw prizes at the cost of the gullible investors who are not aware of it.

I submitted my complaint on the phone and online, but they simply closed the complaint without even calling me up or replying to me. With this highhanded attitude of non-addressal of my grievance, I am left with no alternative but to request your intervention.

Hoping for an early help from your end. Thank you.

iPhone plan

I purchased an iPhone 5s with the new plans which I had ordered on November 11, and the headset was delivered to me by November 17, but till date the plan has not been activated for me. Despite repeated calls and several complaints lodged, customer service agents and the supervisor keep promising me that the issue will resolve in 24 hours but still, the plan has not been activated. I regret that I took the handset and the plan as Du is offering the same, but decided to do so since I have been a loyal customer of Etisalat for the past 25 years and this is what I get. I have lost faith in Etisalat and would like to bring this up as there might be other customers like me who are facing the same issue.
