Dubai: Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment is in talks with a number of banks to teach integrity and ethics to its workforce, a regional director at the institute told Gulf News.
Mashreq has been a pioneer in launching the UAE banking sector’s first certification program in Sales “Integrity & Ethics” in association with the CISI.
The training programme was aimed at reaching 2,500 staff members from June, with the first stage involving personalised training of 450 front-line retail banking staff.
“We have a workshop called integrity at work workshop, and we have undertaken a series of seminars on how to deal with ethical dilemmas etc,” Matthew Cowan, Regional Director, Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment Middle East told Gulf News.
In the UAE, firms such as RAKBANK, Mashreq, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates NBD, National Bank of Abu Dhabi, First Gulf Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank are prominent adopters of the Institute’s wealth and investment management qualifications as well as Islamic Finance Qualification.
