Dubai Duty Free donates Dh2m to Autism Centre

Money will be used to build new premises in Garhoud

Dubai: Dubai Duty Free (DDF) donated Dh2 million to the Dubai Autism Centre to construct a new premises in Garhoud.

The Autism Centre’s new premises will cover 91,000 square feet and be able to accommodate 200 students. It will include a gymnasium, swimming pool and library.

Colm McLoughlin, DDF executive vice-chairman said: “As part of the company’s continued corporate social responsibility, we believed that it is our role to support the communities from which we operate. We are delighted to be a part in the building of a new facility to further enhance the works of Dubai Autism Centre who made great effort in providing autistic children and their families with support and guidance.”
