14 workers injured in Sharjah bus crash

Sharjah: Fourteen workers were injured in Sharjah on Sunday when the bus they were travelling in swerved on Al Dhaid Road, Sharjah Police said.

The 14 Asian workers, who were going to Al Saja industrial area, sustained minor to moderate injuries.

The central operations room of Sharjah Police, having been alerted of the accident, dispatched traffic police, ambulances and paramedics to the place of the accident.

Initial investigations showed that the bus swerved after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The workers were taken to Al Qasimi Hospital and Al Dhaid Hospital for treatment.
