THE ARTISAN: Celebrate La Dolce Vita at the Artisan. With no set menu, the world is your oyster; enjoy bestselling selections from the restaurant’s delicious a la carte menu, such as creamy burrata, beef carpaccio, indulgent lobster spaghetti or truffle pizza. Pair these modern masterpieces with your choices of masterfully mixed beverages. Whatever your pick, celebrations will carry on until 1am, accompanied by jazzy beats of the DJ and a live performer. Those who wish to continue the celebrations, The Artisan has collaborated with the Waldorf Astoria’s St. Trop to offer guests who are dining at the restaurant access to the rooftop lounge which overlooks Burj Khalifa. Though the party starts at 8pm, guests should aim to arrive early, to avoid the New Year’s Eve traffic. Last food orders are at midnight. There is no minimum spend.

AMAZONICO: Amazonico is hosting a massive party to celebrate the start of 2021 in true disco style. For one night only, the rainforest will transform into a studio 54 haven, dazzling with shimmering disco balls, neon lights and all things glitter. In The Lounge, for the first time ever a live band will play disco-bossa nova whilst an opulent feast awaits in The Restaurant. Dine from their A La Carte, or a special NYE set menu. SOHO BEER GARDEN: The newly-opened Soho Beer garden is hosting a vibrant New Years Eve celebration. With a four-course dinner and flowing beverages until 1am, alongside the live band - 'Talk of the Town'. Soho Beer Garden is home to a number of different elements, which means, you can choose between The Foxglove, a heritage British gastropub with traditional décor and authentic British and Irish beer selection, or the outdoor Beer Garden, with a large selection of the best of international and bespoke craft hops. Highlights from the New Years Eve Menu include Avocado and prawn vol au vent, Hand chopped steak tartare on crispy dauphinoise potatoes for starters, a hearty butternut squash soup with toasted pumpkin seeds, chargrilled grass-fed beef tenderloin, Duck confit or spinach tortellini for the vegans. SAL BURJ AL ARAB: The contemporary mirrored pop-up restaurant nestled on the terrace of the Burj Al Arab, is offering a 5-course Mediterranean menu with centre stage views of the fireworks at midnight. APRONS AND HAMMERS: Catch the perfect backdrop at any of the Aprons & Hammers locations across the city. Headlining the event is BLACK COFFEE, the famous South African DJ, producer, singer and songwriter - described as one of the most unique DJs, he does not simply mix songs, he re-interprets music and gives it his own style. LPM RESTAURANT AND BAR: LPM is hosting a Circus theme NYE, where guests are encouraged to dress up. There will also be a DJ and fully decorated venue, as well as special festive dishes including Pan Fried Foie Gras, Whole Black leg chicken. The minimum spend is Dh980 per person.

THE DUCK HOOK AND HILLHOUSE BRASSERIE: The characterful country gastropub and chic all-day eatery at Dubai Hills Golf Club are clubbing together for a joint New Year’s Eve celebration. With live entertainment and seating available indoors and on the spacious outdoor terrace overlooking Downtown Dubai, New Year’s Eve culinary options include iced seafood & sushi, a roast beef and lamb carvery, roast lamb and salmon en croute; canapes of lobster mac n’ cheese; comfort foods such as chicken tikka bites, and pizza; a BBQ station with rump steaks and hotdogs; and mains of shepherd’s pie and pan-seared duck. SHO CHO DUBAI: This Thursday Sho Cho offers the prime spot in the city for New Year’s Eve celebrations to look forward to. Sho Cho offers waterfront views as well as a clear view of Downtown Dubai for the fireworks. For a Dh550 minimum spend per person, guests are free to pick and choose from the à la carte menu and sip bubbles until the early hours of 2021.

AVLI BY TASHAS AND GALAXY BAR: Avli by tashas is throwing open its doors to end the year in true Athenian style. Located in the heart of the glamorous and cosmopolitan DIFC, the venue plays host to an evening set to the eclectic tunes of Antonis Dominos and Cycladic beats by DJ Scarf. On the night, guests can start their evening with welcome beverages and authentic mezedes before having a Mediterranean dinner and toasting the new year. TRATTORIA: Two options await New Year’s Eve-goers at Dubai’s most authentic and adored Italian eatery in Souk Madinat Jumeirah: an outdoor gala dinner, or the more casual rosticcieria menu available inside and on the veranda. SAMAKJE: With front row seats to what promises to be one of the most spectacular light shows in Dubai and a menu of Lobster, Salmon, Caviar and a fish display as well as a welcome beverage. KYO RESTAURANT: The buzzing Japanese favourite launches a set menu for New Year’s Eve. Offering seats to enjoy the new Pointe Fountains show through the night, followed by the iconic Palm Jumeriah fireworks show at the stroke of midnight. The set menu, offers their best-selling dishes and the freshest catch-of-the-day seafood, including a wide range of appetizers like the Tuna Avocado Tiradito, Salmon Tataki Sashimi, Wakame, Sushi Platter and the Wakame Soup, moving on to the main course which has the juicy Citrus Guajillo Octopus and Short Rib Teriyaki ending with a sweet-touch with the scrumptious Hazelnut Sprit. ZUMA DUBAI: Those wishing to celebrate with the little ones can opt for an earlier sitting in the main restaurant at 7pm or 7:30pm and dine on the à la carte menu. The evening will then move to a late-night sitting with a live DJ from 9pm until close. Guests can reserve a table in the restaurant or lounge and choose their favourites from the à la carte menu. OPA: Ring in 2021 in what feels like the heart of Greece with OPA’s garden walkway that leads into a Greek-inspired dining space. Start your night off with a selection of gourmet dips and salads which includes the popular Tzatziki yoghurt dip. The mains include Lobster Orzo, perfect for seafood lovers, and Chicken Kontosouvli, a traditional dish of corn-fed chicken this is slow-roasted to perfection over an open charcoal pit.
