Tunisian singer Saber Al Rebai is the opening night headliner of the Sharjah World Music Festival in January. Al Rebai will perform on January 7 at 9pm at Al Majaz Amphitheatre, with tickets ranging between Dh200-Dh800.
On January 8, the Turkish act Taksim Trio, and Emirati act Hassan Ali, will perform at Flag Island. On January 9, Palestinian Le Trio Joubran and Emirati act Arwa Ahmed will perform at the same venue.
On January 10, Italian act Stefano Di Battista and French act Guillaume Mercenac’s Trio will perform at Masrah Al Qasbah. On January 11, Hungarian act Jozsef Lendvai will perform at the same venue.
On January 12, the festival comes to an end with a closing performance at Flag Island by the Jordanian National Orchestra.
Tickets for the main events, minus the opening night performance, are Dh150-Dh300. All tickets are available through ticketmaster.ae. This will mark the third edition of the festival.
