Mica Paris, Omar perform Soul Jam gig in Dubai

Soul, R’n’B and jazz musicians Alexander O’Neal, Omar, Jaki Graham and Mica Paris will come together for Soul Jam, the concert, at Irish Village on October 5.

Mississippi’s Alexander O’Neal, known for his hit Criticise, has been a mainstay of soul and R’n’B for three decades, while Kent’s Omar Lye-Fook made a name for himself in the neo soul genre in the UK.

Fellow British sister Jaki Graham, who’s recognised for powerful vocals, is best known for hits such as Could it Be I’m Falling in Love?, Round and Around, and Set Me Free.

Mica Paris, also emerging from the UK’s soul scene in the late 1980s, is the platinum-selling singer behind the album So Good and Top 10 single My One Temptation. Tickets are Dh175. Shows starts at 9pm.
