JoAnna Lee, Nine Below Zero to headline next Jazz Garden

Artist JoAnna Lee and Nine Below Zero Big Band will headline the next free Jazz Garden Series on December 15 in the lead up to the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival, which runs from February 21 to 23.

American musician Lee is best known for incorporating R’n’B beats with acoustic guitar play. Lee released her debut album titled So Free on October 14, following up the success of her debut single, The Real Thing, which was a YouTube hit.

Meanwhile, Nine Below Zero Big Band have a rich history dating back to the late ‘70s. The blues band, which also performed at the Glastonbury music festival in 2016, has a line-up that includes Dennis Greaves on guitar and vocals, Mark Feltham on harmonica and vocals, along with Mickey Burkey on drums.

The Jazz Garden Series is a free event at Habtoor Grand Resort, Dubai Marina. Online registration on its official website is required to gain entry. Doors open at 6.30pm and performances start at 7.30pm.
