BBC Blue Planet in concert in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi’s corniche will play host to BBC Worldwide’s Blue Planet in Concert, a show that will open the three-week celebrations for the Abu Dhabi stopover of the 2014/15 Volvo Ocean Race on December 12-13. The show features high definition footage from the BBC series The Blue Planet — with music by a 78-piece orchestra. There will be two 90-minute evening performances on a 10-metre wide screen floating in the sea off the Corniche. Ticket details were not available at the time of writing.
