Yes, at the newly-opened iCream outlet in Al Ghurair Centre, Dubai you can make your very own ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, or milkshake, made fresh in front of you with all ingredients chosen by you.

“Our customers get as experimental as they like by choosing everything from basic flavours to toppings,” said Bharat Lalwani, managing director, iCream.

And yes, for those looking at healthy options, there are interesting concepts in store.

The health conscious can go in for low fat or skimmed milk, while the lactose-intolerant can opt for soya milk and dairy-free milk options to create their frozen delight..

“All chosen ingredients are blended and converted into a frozen dessert through the use of innovative rapid liquid nitrogen’s freezing process that creates smaller crystals compared to traditional freezing, thus creating a creamier and smoother dessert,” said Cora Shaw, co founder of iCream.

The novelty concept originated in the US, and this is the first iCream franchise to open in the Middle East.
