Lindsay Lohan moving to Dubai

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is on the lookout for a property in Dubai to shift in with her DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson. The pair fell in love with the Palm Island resort in Dubai after Ronson performed at the newly opened luxurious Atlantis Hotel in 2008, according to British tabloid the Daily Mirror.

A source said: "Lindsay and Sam loved the tacky glitziness of Dubai. There is so much money and opulence out there it really impressed Lindsay - she can be quite materialistic like that."

"Despite her fair skin, Lindsay loves the beach and sunshine. And with the property market over there probably the only place where there still seems to be a boom, she thinks it will be a wise investment."

According to the contactmusic.com, Lohan is eager to capitalise on the lack of paparazzi in Dubai by purchasing a lavish $2.18 million (Dh8 million) worth property.

Meanwhile, if this New York Post article is to be believed, it's safe to say that the union otherwise known as LoRo has seen its end. Trouble started last Tuesday night as the two partied at Set in Miami. "Both their families were there, and Lindsay and Sam just started going at it," a source said.

Then, on New Year's Eve, the couple went nuclear and started screaming at each other while hosting a party at Mansion. The fight spilled out into an alley behind the club, where Lohan screeched at Ronson, "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!"

A source quoted by the New York Post said, "Lindsay was really unstable and flipping out."

After Lohan and Ronson went back to the hotel, several sources heard crashing sounds and screaming coming from their room until the fight spilled out into the hallways at about 11 a.m.

"They were punching each other - it was bad. And they were doing this in front of all of us. It was scary," a source said.

At one point, Lohan dropped to her knees and cried, "Why are you doing this to me?" And Sam just said, "I don't know you."

While a rep for Lindsay continues to deny any relationship problems, this is the umpteenth report that has surfaced in recent weeks suggesting there is trouble. And you know what they say: Where there is smoke, there is fire!
