Italian tenor Alessandro Safina coming to Dubai

It’s raining tenors in the UAE. Following sold-out performances by Andrea Bocelli and Placido Domingo, it’s time to say bravo to Alessandro Safina, who will perform in Dubai at Madinat Jumeirah on October 10.

Like Bocelli and Domingo, the Italian tenor has also successfully bridged that gap between classic operatic musicals and contemporary pop, counting U2, Genesis, Depeche Mode and The Clash as inspiration. His single ‘Luna’ is still his best known pop song, and also his duet with Ewan McGregor for their rendition of the Elton John classic ‘Your Song’ in ‘Moulin Rouge!’. He’s also performed with Sarah Brightman for her Symphony concert.

Safina is currently working on a new album to be released this year.
