Is Elissa tying the knot?

It is the second time this year that Elissa has become the subject of a juicy marriage rumour. First it was her alleged engagement to Egyptian composer Mohammad Ruhayyem which she strongly denied. And now she is being linked to a Libyan millionaire named Tarek Khitoni. Although the popular Lebanese singer says she would surely make an announcement if and when such a thing happens, she did not deny the rumours - as she did when stories about her and Ruhayyem started doing the rounds. The Libyan businessman has been married twice before. His first wife was a Moroccan, while the second one was the famous Dutch model Lisa Van Goinga, whom he married in 2003.

Sabah gets DIFF honour

Sabah has said that she is honoured to have been selected for the Lifetime Achievement Award at the forthcoming Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF). One of the Arab world's most popular actresses and singers, the Lebanese diva has, however, said that she will not be able to attend the film festival, which is being held from December 12, due to health reasons. A team from the festival's organisers, however, has visited the actress' home and taken pictures of her, in addition to filming a speech which is to be aired during the festival. Sabah said doctors had banned her from travelling by air due to her deteriorating health condition.
