Ghazal evening

Popular Indian ghazal singers Roop Kumar Rathod and Sonali Rathod will spin their magic at a concert to be held at the Kempinski Hotel, Ajman on June 16. Entry is by invitation only.

Roop Kumar Rathod began his musical career as a tabla player, following in the footsteps of his father. He soon returned to his first love of singing and carved a niche for himself as a ghazal singer. He is now a successful Bollywood playback singer with hit numbers such as Sandeshe Aate Hain from Border and the soulful Maula Mere from Anwar to his credit.

After years of performing on stage with her husband, Sonali Rathod has recently released her own album titled This Is Me. The duo last performed in the UAE over three years ago and their fans can expect to hear new numbers as well as popular old hits from their albums and films.
