Two nights of colour, lights, fashion, music, rhythm and dance for a crowd of students from 17 universities around the UAE - that was Sony MP3 Walkman Colors 2006, touted to be the biggest student festival in the country.

The Dubai Media City amphitheatre, with an artificial lake and fountains in the background, was the venue for the Notes-supported event.

Rock bands, dance troupes, colourful fashion shows and Nikhil Chinappa of MTV entertained the 3,000 strong audience.

The fun continued till late into the night.
