Pallavi is a self-confessed tech-head who loves to smell sweet and spend time with her family

Dinner with my closest friends. It has been a Friday routine for years now. Cooking helps me unwind so I’ll get in the kitchen and whip something up. I usually experiment with Lebanese or Japanese dishes.
If time wasn’t an issue I’d jet off to London to browse for antiques at the Portobello Road Market. It’s always inspired me and I pick up special finds for the house, scraps of old embroidered material, dusty books and art. I’m like a child in a sweet shop there! I also travel to Dubai whenever I can.
Simply my Sensai moisturiser – the day and the night cream. Both are my secret to soft supple skin throughout the work week, so I start the weekend with a lovely glowing complexion. Perfect!
My weekends are incomplete without my iPhone, music stereo system and the TV – in that order. I’m a self-confessed gadget geek, but I also want to be in contact and listening to music on my time off with the latest version of techy items.
On Friday evenings after dinner I listen to classics by Bollywood composers Shankar-Jaikishan. The music relaxes, inspires and moves me as one half of the duo is my late husband who died in 1971. My favourite song is Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai from the 1959 film Anari.
