Dubai: The India Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai today marked the country’s vaccination drive crossing the milestone of administering more than 1.5 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines to people in the country.

The India Pavilion facade displays country's achievement with administering COVID-19 vaccine doses to its people in what is being seen as the biggest vaccination drive in the world.

This landmark figure was displayed on the facade of the India Pavilion here today.

Earlier this month, India, with a population of 1.4 billion, the second-highest in the world, rolled out COVID-19 vaccine doses for those in the age-group of 15-18 years. Those who are above 60 years, health-care workers and frontline workers will be administered booster shots from January 10 onwards.
