Child sex abuse the focus of ‘Aarudhra’

The alarming rise of child sexual abuse today sowed the seeds for this tale born out of anger and compassion for the safety of the girl child.

“It’s not just about ‘good touch’ and ‘bad touch,’” said the Indian National Award-winning lyricist. Aarudhra brings awareness to children and their parents about keeping their daughters safe.

Pa Vijay plays the lead role of Siva, a social activist in the story. Yuvasri, of Amma Kannaku fame, plays Siva’s sister.

The supporting cast includes actor-director K Bhagyaraj, Sanjana Singh, Meghali, Mottai Rajendran and SA Chandrasekhar.
