‘Andhra Mess’ a psychological thriller and a dark comedy

Touted as a dark comedy, Andhra Mess, written and directed by debutant Jai, follows the lives of four small-time crooks.

Raja Bharat, AP Sreethar, Balaji Mohan and Mathivanan Rajendran plays the four lead roles, while Tejaswini and Pooja Devaria are the supporting actors.

With more emphasis on visual telling and less on dialogues, Jai, an ad filmmaker, said that he has experimented with new techniques of story-telling.

He promises a film that will live up to its title, derived from Andhra cuisine that is known for its spicy elements.

Andhra Mess releases in India on June 22.
