Allu Arjun plays soldier in ‘Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India’

Telugu movie Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India follows the life of a soldier with anger management issues. The Tamil version is titled En Peyar Surya, En Veedu India.

Allu Arjun plays the titular role and Malayalam actress Anu Emmanuel is paired opposite him.

Director Vakkantham Vamsi says Emmanuel plays a calm young woman — a complete contrast to the hot headed protagonist — who desires a peaceful life with Surya.

“But you will love Surya,” says Vamsi, who attained fame with his film Kick that was subsequently remade in Tamil, Hindi and Kannada.

Sarath Kumar, Thakur Anoop Singh, Arjun Sarja and Nadiya also feature in the film.

Naa Peru Surya releases in UAE on May 3.
