The Scene team spill all on what they're doing, seeing, eating, wearing and watching this week...
To say this week has been event central is an understatement! I feel like Kim K, but without the dysfunctional family. We've had the exclusive Sonam Kapoor jewellery event at the One & Only on The Palm - have you been there yet? Exquisite! Then there was Virgin's 10th anniversary party at Rare and the Vertu Constellation party at The Montgomerie on the same evening, so we were double-partying; plus the Iconic bash on Wednesday was another legendary night out. But as I can feel party season in the air, I'm ona roll and not sliding on my slippers just yet. I'm hearing good things about the ladies night at At.mosphere, Burj Khalifa on Wednesdays, where you'll find me sipping on my two complimentary glasses of bubbles, whilst getting vertigo (and it won't be because of my heels). Also, I've got some dinner dates lined up at Asado at The Palace, Old Town and Al Qasr coming up, so I'll defo be hitting up Topshop and Reiss for some hot new frocks.

Yes, the weather is awesomeand going to the beach for the entire weekend is totally whatI was planning on doing, but when I heard the Treasures of Dali exhibition was in town, the sun tanning schedule has been put well and truly on the back-burner. Showcasing the works of legendary surrealist artist Salvador Dali, I'll be checking out the incredible works of the Spanish artist at Dubai Mall's Opera Gallery and hopefully updating my doodles with melting washing machines with cat legs or something equally peculiar. Oh, and I saw Tilda Swinton at the Abu Dhabi Film Fest last week wearing the most stunning Pomellato rocks on her fingers - so, with Christmas coming, I'm thinking one of their Caramelle rings would make the perfect addition to my pressie list. Finally, after all that culture at Dubai Mall, I'll be heading home to check out the latest instalment in the nail-biting, shout-at-the-telly- fest that is the X Factor US - come on, Melanie Amaro!

This week has been jam-packed with parties and events, so this weekend I'm planning on taking it easy. I really want to swing by Hey, Sugar for a cupcake to satisfy my sweet tooth and check out the revamped store, and now that the evenings are awesome temperature-wise, a night feels wasted if I spend it indoors, so I'm hoping to get a few evenings in down at the Jetty Lounge - I absolutely love their violet iced tea. After all the eating and drinking I have lined up, I should probably spend some time away from indulging, but as I'm a huge Emma Stone fan, I'll be checking out her new movie, The Help - which I've been looking forward to since reading the book last summer - and for me, any trip to the movies is not complete without a bucket of popcorn and a frozen coke I could ski down!
