Soprano to take the stage at Dubai World trade Centre for 2 nights in February

Time to say hello. World-renowned soprano Sarah Brightman will perform at the Dubai World Trade Centre on February 6 and 7 at the inaugural Dubai Classics, a music festival featuring entertainers from the classical genre.
The city will be Brightman’s first regional stop on her world tour promoting her latest record, Dreamchaser.
“We are witnessing the growing need for diversification within the entertainment sector in the UAE,” said Essam Kazim, director of DXB Live, the show organiser. “Dubai Classics will act as a platform to bring some of the world’s most powerful voices to the region.”
Singing with a vocal range of three octaves, Brightman is also a songwriter and pioneer in the classical crossover music movement with hits such as Time to Say Goodbye, which also features on the playlist of the Dubai Fountain. She has sold more than 30 million records worldwide.
Tickets for the shows start at Dh350. Call 050-3439139 or email booking@mpremiere.com.
