Ryan Reynolds to star in The Rosie Project?

Actor Ryan Reynolds is in talks to star in the upcoming film The Rosie Project.

The film is an adaptation of author Graeme Simsion’s book of the same name, which follows a socially inept genetics professor who comes up with a scientifically sound survey to find the perfect mate, reports variety.com.

His plans go awry when he meets Rosie Jarman, who in her whirlwind manner possesses all the qualities opposite to what he should be looking for.

Actress Jennifer Lawrence and filmmaker Richard Linklater were earlier attached to the project, but both later stepped out of the project.
