Paris to get the party started in Dubai

Paris Hilton's on her way back to Dubai to host a birthday bash.

The Hollywood heiress tweeted on Monday saying, "Planning a trip to Dubai very soon. So excited! Can't wait! :)"

On Tuesday it was revealed Hilton will host Okku's second anniversary at the restaurant at The Monarch Hotel on Thursday night.

The international socialite, who has fast become a brand in her own right, will walk the red carpet and officially get a VIP party started at around midnight.

In 2009, Hilton landed in Dubai to film the latest in her reality BBF series — Paris Hilton's Best Friend Forever Dubai — and wasted no time getting around the UAE.

She swam with the dolphins, took to the slopes of Ski Dubai and even hopped on a camel.

The show, filmed almost two years ago, is due to air on MTV in the UK in the autumn. It is unknown whether the series will ever be shown in the UAE, despite being filmed here.
