Yashma Gill bags TV show ‘Alif’

Noticed in small but impactful characters in drama serials such as Iltija and Ki Jaana Main Kaun, newcomer Yashma Gill has now bagged a stellar acting role in Alif, one of the most anticipated TV shows, opposite none other than Hamza Ali Abbasi.

According to reports, Gill plays a girl “who is insecure and confident at the same time.”

The drama is written by award-winning playwright Umera Ahmed (known for Baaghi, Maat and Zindagi Gulzar Hai), and directed by Haseeb Hasan. It also stars Sajal Aly, Kubra Khan, Osman Khalid Butt, Ahsan Khan and Sadaf Kanwal.
