Faiza Saleem bags new show ‘Cover Page’

From among the many amusing characters in this year’s first major hit, Parchi, the one that stands out is undoubtedly that of Faiza Saleem, a lawyer-turned-theatre actor who is now keen to explore the world of television.

Having previously acted in a one-off telefilm, Dil Daariyan, Saleem has joined a freshly launched news channel, and shall be seen hosting a magazine show, titled Cover Page.

The 30-minute-per-episode show offers a variety of segments, including celebrity interviews. Also, it is expected that Saleem might be going the Veena Malik way, by incorporating parodies.
