‘Arth — The Destination’ producers released third song

As the release date of Arth – The Destination approaches, the film’s publicity campaign picks up momentum.

This much-hyped Pakistani version of the 1982 Bollywood classic stars Shaan Shahid (who is also the director and scriptwriter) in the lead, alongside Humaima Malik, Uzma Hasan and Mohib Mirza. It is produced jointly by Shahid and Hammad Chaudhry.

Last week, the makers released the video of the third song from the film. Titled Murshed Ji, it’s an evocative track, written and composed in Sufi rock tradition.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and composer Sahir Ali Bagga lend strong vocals to the song which is picturised as a concert number on Shahid and Emu. Khan also makes an appearance in the video.
