Agustin's Act
Marvin Agustin has finally started shooting for the suspense-horror movie Dagaw with Richard Gutierrez. Agustin, who was GMA Films' sixth choice for Thomas' role, seemed comfortable sharing screen space with superstar Gutierrez. Directed by Chito Rono, the movie is expected to release in cinemas by mid-2008.

Eula joins GMA 7
Actress Eula Valdez, known for playing evil girl Amor Powers in the TV series Pangako Sa Iyo, has recently signed a contract with GMA 7 network. She will soon be seen as Richard Gutierrez's mother in the new TV series Kamandag.

Billy's back
Billy Crawford will be back on television as host for the new dance reality show Versus: Celebrity Dance Match on November 26. It will be the international singer-actor's second reality series on GMA after Move: The Search.

More than a friend?
Rumour mills were rife with stories about how comic actor Oyo Boy Sotto was always on the set of the TV series Prinsesang Banyera bringing food for the lead actress, Kristine Hermosa. But in a recent interview both denied being in a relationship, claiming that they are just good friends. Well, it seems Sotto wants more than just friendship.

Philippines' King of Comedy Dolphy and Vic Sotto will soon team up for the first time for a movie. Still in the planning stages, the film is expected to be directed by Tony Reyes. In all possibility shooting will begin early next year in order to release the movie by May.
