Kristine Hermosa and Jericho attended a charity event in Kota, Kinabalu, at the request of their Malaysian fans. The on-screen couple, seen in hit television soaps such as Pangako Sa Iyo and Sana'y Wala Ng Wakas, helped raise funds for the Sabah Kidney Foundation.

Tight schedules
Cesar Montano turned down the an to star in ABS CBN's home productions, Gulong Ng Palad and Pinoy Big Brothers. Montano opted out, mentioning tight schedules. The actor will be seen in Sony Pictures's production, The Balangiga Massacre. The film is to be directed by Gil Portes.

No jealousy
Gelli De Bellen has no hang-ups about her ex-boyfriend Raymart Santiago tying the knot with Claudine Barreto. "Why should I be jealous if my ex-boyfriend is getting married? I would be jealous if my husband (Ariel Rivera) were linked to someone, not my ex," Bellen said. She even added that if she were invited for the wedding ceremony, she would definitely make it a point to be there.

  • Walking the Walk Quezon City, Manila, is gunning for its own Walk of Fame a la Hollywood. The locality, which was named the City of Stars in 1998, plans to have the Walk in the Eastwood City area and the first 10 honorees will be inducted in October.
  • God's way Ricky Davao received rare praise from the Catholic Initiative for Enlightened Movie Appreciation (CINEMA), for his character in the film Pusang Gala. Davao plays the role of a man whose life is compared to that of a stray cat. The only way he manages to rise above the cat is because of his belief in God.
