Shining bright
Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz will star in a new movie to be produced under the Star Cinema banner. The movie All About Love also stars new on-screen couples Anne Curtis and Luis Manzano, and Angelica Panganiban and Jason Abalos.

Together no more
LJ Reyes admits that she and Mike Tan were in a relationship. "We became really close after winning StarStruck (a talent hunt contest)," says Reyes. But we had a series of misunderstandings and couldn't possibly stay on together ? so we broke up."

Four's company
Rudy Fernandez, Jinggoy Estrada, Philip Salvador and Bong Revilla are planning to make a movie together. The news was confirmed by Revilla who says the project is still in the planning stages. Bong says that the genre will be action and that it's a big-budgeted venture.

Loving New York
Jolina Magdangal will play former American Idol finalist Jasmine Trias in the series Magpakailanman, which will be shown on Pinot TV.

The news comes at a time when Trias herself will be seen in the new television series I Love New York, where she plays a popular Filipino American singer staying in New York.

Young wonder
Sharleen San Pedro, dubbed the young Judy Ann Santos, stars in ABS-CBN's latest soap opera Cary Lily. The young actress received praise from show director Maryo Delos Reyes, who feels the young star is very talented.

Birthday bumps Gerald style
Gerald Santos celebrated his birthday with people of his town in Navotas, Metro Manila. The Pinoy Pop Superstar Grand Champion visited government offices and establishments and went on a motorcade to greet his fans. Winning the contest has made Santos an instant celebrity.
