K-Pop Corner: Baekhyun and Loco’s song to drop on August 31

SM Entertainment shared some exciting news and fans can’t seem to hold in their excitement. Exo’s Baekhyun and rapper Loco’s much-anticipated collaboration track is confirmed to drop on August 31.

The song titled Young will be released as part of SM Entertainment’s Station X 0, a project linking musicians from different genres.

This is Baekhyun’s first collaboration with a male rapper. Loco, who won the first season of South Korean rap competition TV show Show Me the Money in 2012, has worked with a wide range of artists but never with a male vocalist from K-Pop group.

Girls’ Generation Taeyeon teamed up with male ballad duo MeloMance on Station X 0’s first duet, Page 0, and it received attention locally, debuting at No 26 on the UAE iTunes Top Songs chart upon its release on August 10. So, there’s a very high chance Loco and Baekhyun’s track will also climb the charts locally.
