Ryan and Eva welcome baby number two!

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have pulled another fast one on celebrity baby watchers: They celebrated the birth of their second child two weeks ago, after announcing the news of Eva’s pregnancy less than a month ago.

The baby, named Amada Lee Gosling, after Mendes’ grandmother, was born at Santa Monica’s Providence St. John’s Health Centre on April 29.

They are already parents to Esmerelda Amada born in September 2014.

Amada means “beloved” in Spanish, and is a nod to Mendes’ Cuban roots.
