A New Jersey judge has approved a request from Rosie O’Donnell’s teenage daughter to lift a no-contact order with the man accused of sending her obscene images.

Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Al Della Fave says on Friday that Superior Court Judge Wendel Daniels agreed to lift the order barring contact between Chelsea O’Donnell and 25-year-old Steven Sheerer.

Chelsea O’Donnell was 17 when Sheerer was arrested last month, but is now 18.

A representative for the teenager’s comedian mother didn’t immediately respond to an email seeking comment.

Sheerer’s attorney Robert Tarver says the relationship was consensual and Chelsea O’Donnell wants to “make things right.”

Sheerer was arrested at his Barnegat home. Chelsea O’Donnell was found there on August 18, after her mother said online she left home in South Nyack, New York.
