Dubai: Annabelle, the ‘haunted’ Raggedy Ann doll was recently rumoured to be missing.

The doll, which was said to be on the Devils on the Run Tour across the United States, was rumoured to be missing when they made a stop at New Orleans. Visitors reported not seeing the doll on tour, which lead to the rumours.

While on tour, a nearby fire at a resort in White Castle, lead to visitors believing it was connected to the missing doll.

However, Dan Rivera, the lead investigator at the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR) revealed the doll was in fact, encased and not missing.

In a video posted on TikTok, Rivera says, “I’m here at the museum right now, and I just want to show you guys that Annabelle is in the Warrens’ Occult Museum. Let’s go inside and let’s check.”

“Annabelle is not missing: she’s not in Chicago,” he confirmed. He then clarified that the doll will however be at another show, the 2025 Rock Island Roadhouse Esoteric Expo in Rock Island, Illinois, on October 4.

The Annabelle doll was first owned by a student in 1970s, who then called the Warren family when she claimed the doll “exhibited malicious and frightening behaviour”. The movies Conjuring and Annabelle follow the cases solved by the Warren family over the years.
