Swap roses with guns, fancy candle-light dinners with a midnight jaunt to the graveyard and you get Ishaqzaade, the tale of two star-crossed lovers.

Slated to release on May 17 in the UAE, the romance set in rural India about two young people born into warring clans features Bollywood's current flavour Parineeti Chopra and newbie Arjun Kapoor (Boney Kapoor's son).

"Ishaqzaade will show me in a role that is completely different from Dimple [Chopra's character in her debut film Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl]. Without conceit, I can say that this film — my solo lead — will have one of my finest performances, all thanks to Habib sir [Faisal, director]," said Chopra in a recent interview with tabloid!.
