Son of Saif Ali Khan allegedly didn't take kindly to the swipes taken about his nose
Bollywood nepo baby and actor Ibrahim Ali Khan didn’t reportedly take kindly to a Pakistani film critic’s scathing review of his debut film, Nadaaniyan.
The critic, Tamur Iqbal—who calls himself a “wannabe film critic” on Instagram—shared a heated message exchange with Ibrahim after mocking his acting and taking a swipe at his alleged "nose job."
Not one to stay silent, Ibrahim fired back in a profanity-laced DM:
"Tamur almost like Taimur… you got my brother's name. Guess what you don’t got? His face. You ugly piece of trash. Since you can't keep your words to yourself, don’t bother—they’re irrelevant, just like you. Ugly [expletive]. I feel bad for you and your family. And if I see you on the streets, I’ll make sure I leave you uglier than you already are, you walking piece of [expletive].”
Tamur responded with a mix of amusement and backtracking:
"Hahahaha, that's my man! This is the guy I want to see in movies, not that fake Cornetto-mushy-cringy human. But yeah, the nose job comment was in bad taste. I totally own up to that. Massive fan of your dad, Saif Ali Khan—don’t let him down."
He later downplayed the feud, calling it “good banter in the spirit of fun.”
Fans, however, were quick to side with Ibrahim. Some pointed out that Tamur crossed the line with the personal attack, while others questioned why he deleted his review if he stood by his words.
"You can critique his acting, but the nose job comment was unnecessary," one user wrote. Another added, "You mocked him first—don’t play the victim card now.”
The actor is yet to clarify if he had DMed the critic. Gulf News rates this movie 1.5 out of 5 and wasn't particularly impressed with his acting chops. His abs and physical features were far more impressive than his emotive heft on-screen.
Nadaaniyan, directed by Shauna Gautam and backed by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, premiered on Netflix on March 7. The film stars Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor in lead roles.
