The movie is the second time the actor’s collaborating with father David Dhawan

Actor Varun Dhawan has been signed on for the lead role in the sequel of his filmmaker father David Dhawan’s 1997 hit comedy Judwaa.
The 28-year-old Badlapur star revealed the news on his official Twitter account by sharing his look from the upcoming movie.
Wearing a black tee and a blue jacket with its collar raised, Varun Dhawan sports a mischievous expression in the photo.
“Judwaa 2,” the actor captioned the image.
The sequel, which will also have David Dhawan in the director’s chair, stars Varun Dhawan in a double role. This is the second time the father-son duo are collaborating. They last worked together in 2014 romantic-comedy Main Tera Hero.
The original Judwaa featured Salman Khan in a double role, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha.
