Shraddha Kapoor begins filming for ‘Haseena’

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has begun shooting for her upcoming film Haseena — The Queen of Mumbai, the biopic on fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar.

The film is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia, and will chronicle Parkar’s life from the age of 17 to 40.

“So excited! 1st day of shoot of my next film #HASEENA begins with @SiddhanthKapoor all the best @apoorvalakhia! #HaseenaBegins @haseenamovie [sic],” Kapoor, 29, tweeted.

The actress’ older brother, Siddhanth Kapoor, will essay play Ibrahim. Initially, Sonakshi Sinha was billed to play Parkar, but she opted out for unknown reasons.
