Rajkummar Rao to play real-life terrorist in ‘Omerta’

Actor Rajkummar Rao is all set to portray a real life character in filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film Omerta.

The Kai Po Che! star will reportedly play a terrorist in the upcoming movie.

Mehta, who has previously collaborated with Rao for the award-winning film Aligarh — based on the real life story of Dr Srinivas Ramchandra Siras — took to Twitter on Thursday where he shared the first look of Omerta.

“Produced by Swiss Entertainment and Karma Features, Omerta has Rajkummar playing yet another real life character,” Mehta captioned the poster.

Mehta also shared a photograph from the shoot location.

“On location, Omerta. This has been a gruelling but gratifying journey. It is a pertinent film about our times,” he added.
