Neha Dhupia marries boyfriend Angad Bedi

It’s definitely the wedding season in tinsel-town. After the grand wedding celebrations of Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and businessman Anand Ahuja on Tuesday, actress and TV host Neha Dhupia took to social media to announce that she is now a married woman. Dhupia married actor and best friend Angad Bedi in an intimate affair in New Delhi on Thursday morning.

Dhupia, 37, is the host of talk-show Vogue BFFs, while 35-year old Bedi is the son of Indian cricketer Bhishan Singh Bedi, and has appeared in movies such as Pink alongside Amitabh Bachchan and the superhit Tiger Zinda Hai starring Salman Khan.

“Best decision of my life.. today, I married my best friend. Hello there, husband! @Imangadbedi”, tweeted the new bride Dhupia, along with a photo.

The ceremony was conducted as per Sikh rites. Dhupia donned a beautiful light pink lehenga by designer Anita Dongre and paired it with a stunning neckpiece and chooda. Bedi kept it subtle in a white shervani and a pink turban.

The actors have definitely been successful in keeping their impending marriage under wraps. They have often been spotted partying together with Bedi’s best friend and Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh.

Congratulatory messages have been pouring in from Bollywood for the newly-wed couple. While many members of the fraternity are taken back by surprise, director and close friend of Dhupia, Karan Johar, also declared this news along with the couple on his twitter handle.

“My darling and most special friend @NehaDhupia who l love and adore dearly is married to the gentleman and talented @Iamangadbedi! Here’s wishing them decades of unconditional love!”, he posted.
