The award-winning director will be in the UAE to film the final portions of his forthcoming film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam

Actor Arun Vijay took to Twitter today to announce his plans to film the final portions of director Mani Ratnam’s multi-starrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (CCV).
“Off to Dubai!! My final schedule for #CCV !!,” Vijay said. The team were in Chennai until last week filming major portions of the South Indian action thriller, whose music score is composed by A R Rahman.
The costume designer of the film, Eka Lakhani, also posted a picture on her Twitter account, to update her fans that they were headed to Dubai.
“Team CCV all set for Dubai,” she posted.
CCV also features Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi, Aishwarya Rajesh, Jyothika and Aditi Rao Hydari.
It’s not the first South Indian film to be filmed in the UAE. Malayalam films such as Diamond Necklace, starring Fahadh Faasil, and Casanova, starring Mohanlal were filmed here in the past.
