New Delhi: Supernatural erotica Khamoshiyan has performed better than two other new releases, Hawaizaada and Rahasya, at the domestic box office.

Khamoshiyan, starring Gurmeet Choudhary, Sapna Pabbi and Ali Fazal, raked in Rs413 million (Dh24 million) in two days, read a statement.

The film was made on a budget of Rs110 million (including marketing), and the makers — Fox Star Studios and Vishesh Films — have already collected Rs75 million from satellite and music rights.

Distributor Rajesh Thadani says the Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Hawaizaada, which is set in colonial India, earned only Rs6 million. And, “Rahasya collected less than Rs2.5 million,” Thadani said.
