‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ does well at box office

Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan film has made more than Rs195m since its release

Hamari Adhuri Kahani, directed by Mohit Suri, has made more than Rs195 million (Dh11.1 million) since its release on June 12.

The Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan film performed well on Monday. The movie collected Rs30.3 million on Monday, taking the total at the box office to Rs195.2 million, read a statement.

The cost of production of the movie is Rs350 million and it has recovered Rs225 million from satellite and music sales.

Suri, who has also directed blockbusters Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, went back to romance with the movie about a married woman who falls in love with another man.

Produced by Vishesh Films, the film has been marketed and distributed by Fox Star Studios.
