Bollywood actress Shefali Jariwala of Kaanta Laga, Bigg Boss fame dies at 42 of heart attack

Dubai: Bollywood actor Shefali Jariwala, famed for her iconic role in the music video Kaanta Laga and her participation in Bigg Boss 13, tragically passed away at the age of 42. According to multiple media reports, she suffered a cardiac arrest late on Friday night, June 27.

As reported by hospital staff, Jariwala was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, along with three others. Despite immediate medical efforts, she was declared brought dead on arrival.

The hospital receptionist confirmed, “Shefali had expired before she was brought in. Her husband and a few others accompanied the body.” A postmortem is underway at Cooper Hospital.

Journalist Vickey Lalwani posted on social media, “I can confirm that she was brought dead to Bellevue Multispeciality hospital about 45 minutes prior to this post. For further details, please speak to Dr Vijay Lulla (cardiologist).” When contacted, Dr. Lulla neither confirmed nor denied the news, stating, “I cannot divulge any details regarding any patient.”

Shefali’s sudden death has shocked the entertainment world and fans alike, with tributes pouring in.
