Actor says filmmaker Prakash Mehra wanted to make a movie featuring the boxing legend

Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that late filmmaker Prakash Mehra wanted to make a movie featuring boxing legend Muhammad Ali in the lead.
Bachchan, 73, worked with Mehra in films such as Zanjeer, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar and Namak Halaal among others.
“With the ‘greatest’ Muhammad Ali at his home in LA. Prakash Mehra had wished to make film with him and me,” he posted on Twitter along with a picture of the trio.
Ali died on June 3 after a 32-year battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Paying tribute to the boxer, Bachchan wrote, “Muhammad Ali the greatest ever! A gentleman and learned mind! He not just fought in the ring but outside it as well! And WON!”
